After hours of mourning his mother, Lola, I finally coaxed Kayden to tend to the garden and feed the cowplant. He was careful to feed it..not himself.

Ashlyn decided playing horseshoes was best done in the middle of the night…and she brought her snack because you might notice, she is pregnant…again. Baby number three is imminent.

 

After some flirting with Kayden, she told him the news.

He was NOT thrilled. So to calm herself, Ashlyn spoke to her old pal Flarn. She felt much better.

Starry…my sweet innocent Starry…received a phone call from some kid named Max. He invited her to join his group of friends, called the Renegades.

Now, Starry was usually a good kid but she was so annoyed. First she had her brother Stormy who aged up and immediately annoyed her. She got used to him though cuz he liked to play with her in the play area. But now she was expected to share her mommy and daddy and her cool Aunt Simmy with ANOTHER baby?

She was furious. She was ready to leave this place. She is a good kid and she didn’t like that now she would have to deal with this, even though she always did as she was told. She figured if she was going to be so unappreciated she might as well do what she wanted. She told Max she would meet him at the pool.

She told everyone how angry she was and how she didn’t want to be the good little kid anymore. Morgan, Max, and Wolfgang were sympathetic. They said she should join them and learn the art of protest.

So she did.

She headed home, it was her birthday. She had decided what her next step was to be.

After some dancing with Aunt Simmy, her dad, and her brother, it was time for her to age up.

Thank goodness she has her mom’s head shape and face.

Starry gained the jealous trait (fitting) and decided she wanted to achieve Chief of Mischief(also fitting) , and who better to learn from, than Max and the Renegades.

She and her new attitude sat down for dinner with her family. Her mother was pleased they were all together.

What do you even want?! I have to deal with another one of you!?

 

 

After dinner she used her new camera to save the memories.

Mother like daughter. Thankfully.

After the party, we did some room and house remodel. Starry needed a new teen room to suit her and we needed a new baby room.

After the remodels, Starry updated her look. She thought Morgan had style she should aspire to.

Later, Simmy decided that she was going to begin to work on her new resolution, after her mother’s death,  to make friends and live her life. She headed to the library and checked out the bulletin board searching for activities for her and Stormy.

She found a flier to meet with others who loved to read, program, science. hack, and play games.

They called themselves the Freaks & Geeks and she also signed her and Kayden to meet with the Upper Crusts, since she was a glutton and he a foodie. She also signed Stormy up for the League of Adventurers to play with kids his own age after school. Both groups met at the library so it worked out for Simmy to take Stormy along with her.

She was ready to make friends.
